The 342nd Forward Support Battalion, 42nd Infantry (Rainbow)
Division, is headquarted in Yonkers, New York, with elements spread throughout the state
from Brooklyn to Buffalo. We have service opportunities for prior and nonprior
service personnel in maintenance, medical, supply and numerous other career fields.

Our Mission
As a part of the Army National Guard, the 342nd FSB has dual
missions to both state and nation.
Our federal mission is to provide combat service support to
the 3rd Brigade, 42d Infantry Division.
Our state mission is to answer the call of the governor and
provide assistance to local communities and civil authorities in times of crisis.
